1. Introduction

Titanium screws are made of titanium alloy materials such as TA1, TA2, and TC4, which are low in density and lightweight, while also possessing high strength and corrosion resistance. With a density of approximately 4.51g/cm³, they exhibit high specific strength. A dense oxide film can form on the surface of titanium alloys, imparting excellent corrosion resistance and stability in oxidizing, neutral, and weakly reducing media. Their high temperature and low temperature resistance make them suitable for industrial applications in extreme environments. New titanium alloy screws can be used for long periods at temperatures of 600°C or higher, while some low-temperature titanium alloys maintain good ductility and toughness at temperatures ranging from -196°C to -253°C. Additionally, titanium alloy screws exhibit good biocompatibility, being non-toxic and compatible with human tissue; they are non-magnetic and do not become magnetized in strong magnetic fields; and they have strong damping resistance.
