Titanium reducers—commonly known as"big-and-small ends"—are primarily used to connect two pipes of different diameters, ensuring smooth fluid flow.

1.Key Characteristics: Manufactured from titanium or titanium alloys, they offer high strength, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature tolerance, making them particularly suitable for transporting corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and seawater.

2.Application Scenarios: Widely used in industries including chemicals, petroleum, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, and wastewater treatment; they perform exceptionally well in piping systems subject to high temperatures, high pressures, or highly corrosive environments.

1. Material Grade: Commonly TA1/TA2 (commercially pure titanium) or GR1/GR2 (ASTM standard); TA2/GR2 is most frequently used for corrosion resistance, while alloys such as TA9 may be selected for special operating conditions.
2. Specifications & Dimensions:

Nominal Diameter (DN): e.g., DN50, DN80; specific port sizes at both ends must be confirmed (e.g., DN80 reducing to DN50).

Wall Thickness Class: Common ratings include Sch 10S, Sch 40S, etc.; this affects pressure-bearing capacity and must match the pipeline wall thickness.

3. Standards: Domestic standards such as GB/T 12459 and HG/T 3651 are commonly used; ASME B16.9 and ASTM B363 are typically used for exports or projects requiring US standards; please specify the standard when ordering.
